Slilllfllil GLASS ltlllllltlltliill Gracie De Moss has recently won her second trophy as the women's Pacific Golf Champion. Richard Schoenberg and Putter Morse are still getting into the Majestic Theater for lO cents. To Barbara Burrier goes the new women's wrestling title. She pinned Ellen Bullis in the first round. Carolyn Coleman has just written her third book failure, How to Handle Men . Because of the popular demand, Bob Kean decided to set up his own Seegar factory. Lloyd Fry was thrown out of Ma Stover's Boarding House for reasons unknown to the public-maybe he couldn't pay the rent. Besides her man trouble, Colleen Moore is soloing with Spike Jones and his band. Tom Owens seems to be quite prominent in the diplomatic field. Doran Anderson is now an Italian interpreter for the United States Army. While competing in the Olympic games, Clarence Paul set a new record for the high hurdles. lt seems he took one leap and flew the entire distance. Ed Hunter is now driving the Red Bus so he can pass Short Street every 'IS minutes. The new president of the Lily White League has finally been announced. The winner is Jon Seibert. Paul Lee has been sweeping the Cafeteria in order to finish his way through school. Joyce Getz is the new public librarian. Paul Moser and Dick Handley have completed their umpteenth volume of addresses from basketball trips throughout the United States. Bob Swan's newspaper office has been converted into Swon's Swonky Swap Shop.

JMINHHR MSS llllgillllllllll Maurice Beals headed the 1944-45 junior class of CHS as president. Other officers were Nann Ballard, vice-president, Bettymae King, secretary, and Norman Laux, treasurer. A Mind of Her Own , the junior class play, was one of the out- standing events of the year at CHS. The junior sales committee functioned throughout the football and basketball seasons. Under the co-chairmanship of Helen Hart and Mary .lo Smiley the sales committee was unusually successful. Some of the other activities of the junior class were the skating parties in the fall and spring, the junior-senior party, a circus con- cession and the sponsoring of the all-school formal.
