Golf had a great turnout WATCHING THE STUDENTS play golfis al- most as fun as playing, to the coaches. Photo by Baribeau. by Traci Hickey wi. Mr. Gene Privett was on his eighth year coaching for the Coronado golf team. This year there were 14 guys and one girl on the team. Mr. Pri- vett decided to be the golf coach because he plays a lot himself and has been playing since his col- lege days. Mr. Privett's method for helping out the students was through con- stant pressuring them into doing the best that they could do. They had a very good season this year, nine wins and four losses. Mr. Pri- vett said, UI was really pleased with the turnout and the students have really put a lot of effort into the games. LINING UP HIS putter, a student concen- trates veiy hard.
