Varsity Yell Leaders Radiate . The 1976-77 Varsity yell leaders not only proved to be the best last summer at the United Spirit Association camp in Logan, Utah, but also succeeded in bringing home a superior trophy from the state contest in January. Among the awards received at camp was the 49'ers award, the top award at the camp, which included a S100 scholarship. Although the squad had only two guys instead of six this year, it did not affect their quality. The squad supported all sports events and promoted school pride and spirit at pep ral- lies. l Z.. 4, if -. 4' , v t s T Head yell leader, Brenda Liester, starts a chant.
