Fun-Filled Drama Staged By Cougars Dave Rassmussen gets into his role as Teddy. Cindy Webb sees a ghost! Coronadois first play of the 1976-77 school year was the comedydrama The Ghost Train. All of the characters did an excellent job in protray- ing the story of how a spooky ghost train is used to transport narcotics. The main character, Dave Rass- mussen, played a comical Britisher, Teddy , the de- tective who cleverly solves the mystery. The play was a very suc- cessful one, and turned out better than expected, re- marked the director, Mrs. Linda Johnson, who is the new drama and speech teacher at Coronado. Mrs. Johnson expresseed the fact that she greatly enjoyed working with the students and crew. The play con- sumed six weeks of plan- ning. Mrs. Johnson explains character portrayals Teddy charms Amy Brooks. Brian and Laura seem uneasy about train. 5-an

Sweetheart Week Introduces The 20's Let Me Call You Sweetheart was this year,s theme for the Sweetheart week. One day of this week was a dress up day devoted to the fashions of the l920's. It was not unusual to see someone walking down the hall in knickers or flapper dresses. The queen's assembly proved to be unique when the queens were presented in a 1929 Model A Ford. At the dance Kim Sickinger was crowned Sweetheart queen. Her court con- sisted of LouAnn Cheslock, Joan Egger, Cherie Gair and Meredith Houghton. Kim Sickinger steps out of the Model A Ford.
