She said that, although she was homesick, she liked Colorado Springs and Coronado very much. She was surprised at how much her home and Colo- rado are alike. On October 15 and 16, a retreat was held at Emerald Valley Ranch for students and faculty of Coronado. Participants learned to work together and discussed leadership, nature, Outward Bound, and even cooking. A dance was also included in the group activities. The retreat proved to be a time of learning and meeting new friends, Students and teachers to discuss problems, new ideas, and experiences.
