Cougars Relive uThe Wild Wild West! The students of Coronado High School relived The Wild Wild Westn for homecoming this year. Tuesday started off the week with the movie JEREMIAH JOHN- SON. The homecoming court was presented Wednesday afternoon at the queen's assembly. The Girls of the West were Shelley Howells, Christi Koppisch, Brenda Liester, Tami Reinhard, and Anne Stavig. That evening, a real Western Hoe- down took place. Thursday the Cougars saw the Terrors go up in smoke and a very surprised Anne Stavig was crowned queen. The Cougars whipped Palmer 39-O for a great homecoming victory. Satur- day morning, alumni joined their friends at the brunch. Ending the week was the dance, Daze of Gold. Music performed by Sterling helped make the dance a success. The Card Game was a popular skit in the queen's assembly Halftime performance presented Queen Anne Stavig and her court. Mr. and Mrs. Wilcox were awarded the Westside award

O The Alps Come To The Rockies Barbara Hornstein was this yeafs exchange stu- dent. She hails from Switzerland and speaks Ger- man. She said that, although she was homesick, she liked Colorado Springs and Coronado very much. She was surprised at how much her home and Colo- rado are alike.
