Music Department Resounds With Beautiful Sounds The band adds variety to half-time. Mr. Buck tunes up. The Choir makes beautiful music together. Mr. Harms directs his band students. WM f This year the Music Depart- ment added a new teacher, Mr. Harms. He was named Band Di- rector, coming to us from Wichita State. He joined Mr. Buck who was in his sixth year at Coronado. There was a brand-new choir this year, and along with Chamber Singers, Advanced Choir and Girls Choir, all enjoyed a very full year with Madrigal Festival and Christmas concerts. Mr. Buck, Music representative, goes over new music with attentive students. Mr. Harms and students relax after tough practice session. Q

The main focus of the Business Department was F.B.L.A.- Future Business Leaders of America. More Boys Involved In Home Economics Mrs. Pat Miller, head of the Home Econom- ics department, stated that more boys took part in the program this year than ever before. These classes were recommended primarily for seniors to prepare them for life outside of high school, but they were open to all students. Mrs. Mary McBroom rounds out the Home Ec staff.
