Fifty percent of all Coronado stu- dents wereenrolled in some type of science class this year, according to Mr. Richard Winternitz, department chairman. Geology, which had been notable absent from the curriculum for two years, was reinstated by the depart- ment this year. The Communication Arts depart- ment agreed to share Mrs. Bunnie Rushmer with the Science department, allowing her to teach geology as well as English. The department also acquired some new equipment, and a new computer terminal was installed. Geology Returns To Science Curriculum Mr. Powell appears to be right at home in his science class. Mrs. Rushmer brought geology back to the Science department. Overworked Science teacher is flattened by mountain of paperwork.
