Not pictured: Eunice Woodson. Q oo O This was a very busy year for DECA students and their sponsor, Mr. Ric Hermann. To start off the year they had a successful bake sale. They later attended the South Central Leadership Conference and competed in the fol- lowing categories: market place, adver- tising display, job interviews, public speaking, sales demonstration, and testing skills in different businesses. DECA again helped sponsor its annual Christmas program for under-privi- leged children, providing gifts, refresh- ments, entertainment, and several Christmas trees. Members attended the State Lead- ership Conference at the Broadmoor in early spring. Another worthwhile service which they performed for the school was helping to sell ads for this year's Re- cuerdos. is Judy Gottschalk hopes to be a future DECA member.
