V.I.C.A. Organizes New Program VICA CVocational Industrial Clubs of Amer- icaj is a club for all students in vocational classes. The club consists of students from electronics, drafting, graphic arts, auto, and building con- struction. This year they met early Monday and Tuesday mornings for half hour periods. They also held breakfast meetings once a month. These meetings were devised to encourage leadership in the students. VICA's main project for this year was to reor- ganize their program. Unity Club Promotes Idea Of Brotherhood Thirty students were involved in the Unity Club this year, with Mr. Jake Garcia again acting as sponsor. Mr. Garcia expressed the philosophy of the club with these words, When we speak of the melting pot the- ory, what we are really talking about is brotherhood. The goal of this club is to get all students involved in school activities.
