fm i a 5 M 355 my The Phelpses are like my own, they have made me feel like one of them, and I know that they will always remain a part of me. I have indeed learned a lot, thanks to A.F.S. Thanks too to all of you who have made this marvelous stay here possible for me. Zeenat Aman-India A.F.S. sister, Hayden Phelps Q 35 ,lr :J F53 -t 'Ea I think my greatest admiration and gratitude is what I hold for my nice American family, for the friendship and welcome which all the students and faculty have extended to me, and for the A.F.S. committees, who have been working with sincerely altruistic mo- tives. This year is already the greatest in my life, and just through this experience I have learned to understand and to appreciate all of you. Always I am going to remember that in one place of California lives a mar- velous community . Victor H. Gattini Callao-Chile A.F.S. brother, Bob Wilson ez Peter Goodall-Australia, ikata-Iapan, Kwang-Ik Choi- This year was for me one of the most exciting years I will ever have in my life. I have met a lot of people and made many friends. My first impression of Corona was that all the students and teachers were very nice to me and to the other AHF .S. students . When I first arrived I thought I was going to have a very hard year, but you have helped me to feel like one of you. My family is very nice and they tried to make me as happy as possible . They think of me as one of their members . just one more thing: Thank you very much. Enrique de Mestral -Paraguay A.F.S. brother, Pat Irwin sms- 'zany . , 'ii

Girls League is for all girls. This year began with Girls League sponsoring Homecoming. President Sara Traphagan and her gang are to be commended. All the balloons floated right out into space as scheduled. Can Cape Kennedy compete with that? Nice job, group. Next they had that ever delightful panel discussion, which was pancled by Corona's male wits. All the girls learned that boys do not like green or purple eyes. New girls at Corona are forever being given the run around. . . or, the tour of the campus by Girl Leaguer's. The League clears up that new-girl-feeling of neither knowing where to eat or where to go. , Slumber Party? Whoever thought up that name was a pretty tricky fellow. It is certainly hoped that no one compromised themselves by going to sleep at the Girls League Slumber Party. ' Does Leap Year dilate your pupils and bring adreneline into your blood system? ls there really a run on Redball ,lets and butterfly nets? From the looks of the Sadie Hawkins Dance, which was a put on by Girls League, or which was put on by Girls League, this could be imaginable. Have we progressed so far as to be matched by computers? Is there no romance left? STOP! It was only a computer dance, and a very intriguing one at that! Girls League duties come to a finish where it all began- a tea for their mothers. What a livelv vear it has been. 4
