Sept. Oct. 11- 14- Nov. Dec. Jan. Feb. 17-18 CALENDAR Once again we take pens in hand and sign on the dotted line. 'Pst-- Pst! Did you see the three new teachers? Freshies surely have an amazing talent for getting into the wrong rooms. Coach gets acquainted with future baseball team. Cadott defeats us in first game of the season. Half-day off for Highway Celebration, and did they celebrate! Team pays Holcombe a visit and returns with a score of 2-l. Another defeat. Cadott plays us down to the tune of 12-6. Sophomores give all school party with 'Freshies' as their guests. First Issue of the gl-Lites, the school paper. Student body is entertalned by Eau Claire Concert Orchestra. Six weeks tests! Lights flicker to wee hours of the morning. Ah! Now for some fresh air while faculty attends Teachers Convention. Report cards out. Who signed yours? Juniors make a great hit with their class play, 'For Pete's Sake'. Coach gets an excellent basketball turnout. The band members give a concert in auditorium. Fine work. The Concert Orchestra gives us another hour of entertainment. Seniors give a school party. We'll never forget that grand scramble for the broom. ' Half day off for Armistice. Where did you go? Basketball boys with new cheer leaders make a trip to New Auburn, only to meet with defeat. Illustrated talk on South Africa by Mr. Dearborn. 'Tom Sawyer' comes back to life again in the grade operetta. Somemore six weeks tests. We studied and studied and studied and still our minds were blank. Thanksgiving vacation! Many disregard their diet and temperance habits We were victims of basketball skirmishes with Hawkins, Altoona, and Gilman, from the first to the twelfth of the month. These were not conference games, however. In the last game before vacation, but the first conference game, we subdue Boyd 50-8. Girls B. B. teams play preliminary. Christmas vacation and we put our books into Santa's keeping. Back to school, resolutions in hand, we return to turn over a new leaf. Cornell cages Cadott Cadgers in score of 27-12. Mr. Peterson takes senior and group pictures for the annual. X Seniors start subscription campaign for the annual. We defeat Holcombe 21-8. We are almost convinced this is an agreeable habit. Cornell B. B. team witnesses game at Eau Claire of Eau Claire vs. Ripon College. Cornell turns tables on Hawkins with victory 26-15. Our debate team participates in a tri-school debate at Bloomer. With man a crammed head and sleepless night we attack semester exams. Y Ah! The top of the hill for coasting? Cornell Journeys to Boyd dance after the game. Cornell vs. Cadott. Pep Freshmen give all school reported by all. Bad weather, icy roads. peach of a referee? is reached. How's the view below? Any good and returns victors 39-6. Many stay for Band spurs Cornell on to victory of 26-20. party. Fine crowd, music, and grand time Team motors to Tony. wasn't that farmer a Great game! Our team brings us to the lead of the Eastern Division in the Cloverbelt League Holcombe! by winning game with our friendly rivals, Hi-Lite staff party. Fun for all, and all for fun. CORNELL BRINGS HOMES CLOVERBELT TROPHYL!!! Defeated Stanley 19-18. Tony defeated here by a score of 37-21. Junior all school party given. Major Bowes should have been there for the amateur contest.
