Second in State Three outstanding trackmen fpictured on this pagej racked up a total of 43 points to place Corbett second in the State B T f Track Meet held May 19-20 at Springfield, Oregon. For the ' first time in the history of CHS the Cardinal track team now boasts a state trophy. Neatly clearing the cross-bar in a high jump is Terry Monroe, the cinder-man who broke three school track records during the ' 61 season. Dick Goodling seems all alone fabovey as he nears the completion of the mile at the state meet. There should be little wonder why no one is close to Dick be- cause his run shattered the state record.
