Pictured to the right are typical scenes taken from Twirp Week ac- tivities. Dress- up Day fleftj brought students in their Sun- day best and Crazy Hat Day frighty en- couraged them to dis- play some fancy headgear. The long winter days became shorter with the arrival of the Girls' League annual Twirp Week in February. Beatnik Day, Red and White Day, Crazy Hat Day, Clash Day, and Dress-Up Day, were the titles that headed each activity of the special week. Many new personalities were discovered during Twirp Week and among them was Bruce Houck caught in this crazy hat Qleftj. Beatnik Day inspired Jack Goertz fbelow lefty to pound out a beat on the bongos and to throw on some flashy clashy clothes fbelow righty.

The 2nd annual Science Fair stirred the interests of many scholars. Students Qtopj experiment with a Benham's color disk, a project by Diana Taylor and Mary Christensen. In the background, Don MacKay and Terry Monroe Qmiddlej prepare an experiment with the titration tube. Jim Ellis and Steve Crampton fbottomj set up a gas dis- charge tube for display. and Accomplishment With the entrance of many fascinating displays and projects, the Corbett Science Fair of April 12, demonstrated a new mark in scientific achievement within our com- munity.
