XVe have attempted in its pages to depict faithfully and vividly student life at Copiah- Lincoln in the year of 1937. We hope that we have invested the buildings you have roamed through with so much life that they will never be just hrick and mortar to you, but will he instead a symbol of the culture a11d the refinement you have learned within their Walls. We cherish the idea that we have so pictured your friends whom you have made here that they will, when you open this book, smile, and remind you that these years spent in pursuit of an education have been happy. We dream that in the years to come these pages will he the medium of showing you how you looked and what you did in your youth. We treasure the many happy hours We have spent in searching for ideas which would recreate the realities and illusions of your by-gone school days because we fancy when your hair has turned to silver and your youth is only a memory that this volume will be very precious to you.
