Third Row, John Atkinson, G., Charles Sprague, C., Bill Cummins, E., Dale Williams, T.g John Hollandsworth, G., SCORES The Cepen High School Football team suffered probably the most disastrous season in the History of the school, winning none and losing ten. In these ten games the opposition scored 198 points while we were scoring 36. Even so we think Coach Roy Rousey did a very commendable job considering the fact that he had only a sprinklingof veterans returning, two ineligible players and numerous inexperienced freshman and sbphmores. The team also was plagued by injuries all through the year. we certainly hope that no other Copan team will ever suffer the mis- fortunes that befell the team this year. CLASS PROPHECY Dear Jack, I just wanted to tell you of the experiences that I had on my trip this summer and relate to you the news I have of some of the alumni of the class of 19h9. Starting in New York City, I brightened a dull evening by touring the Bowery. While there I ventured into a small theater which featured the Blonde Bomb Shell. Imagine my surprise when the bombshell turned out to be Iva Mae Stephens. From there I went to Washington D. C. where I found Senator Marion Williams in the midst of a filibuster, the Speech Class certainly made Willy windy. On T went to Chicago where I visited the Law Firm of Zunigha, Zunigha, Zunigha, and Zunigha frelatives you knowj, Mr. Zunigha was very busy on the eminent Surgeon, Dr. Proudlove's law suit. It seems as though Dr. Proudlove while performing an appendectomy m mistake cut part of his patient's intestine out, and is being fined 35,000 for damages. While traveling through Kentucky after leaving Chicago I found the bookie Wilbur Keck trying to make a bet with that great horse owner, horse trader, horse trainer, and horse thief Bud Edwards. From the Blue Grass state I went to New Orleans, and while visiting Tulane University I saw that famous artist Wilma Keck sketching the athletes in summer training. While traveling through Texas we read in the paper where the great pianist Frances Phillips is giving a concert in Dallas. Also in Texas I found Jack Crawford running a chain of Grocery stores it seems Crawford is the only weak link in the chain. From Texas I went back to my old home state of Oklahoma where Bill Todd is running a close race with Charles Atlas with his body building school. Also in Oklahoma I found Ava Jo Atkinson, Ava Jo has been married and divorced from the same guy h times. , On I went to Colorado where I met the High Society snob Joan Podbreger, who recently has had a nervous breakdown. This was apparently caused by so much worry in High School. From Colorado I went to California where I went to the Opera and guess who the leading man with the beautiful baritone voice was none other than Tom Hannah. While in San Francisco I went into a bar for a little refreshment and who should I find working as a barmaid but Mary Lou Garner. Also in San Francisco I found that Television Expert J. C. Morelan, televising his wife's accordion concert. e On I went to Low Angeles and dropped into Losson Winkler's famous restaurant The Parrot Club and who should be talking loudest, but the famous athlete Puss Mann. Puss plays baseball all summer, basketball all winter, and spends the rest of the time talking about it. Also in Los Angeles I found Alice Toney and her husband running a Turkish Bath. We went over to Hollywood where I found that famous movie star Thelma Griffin they say she is another Judy Canova. T also hear that you have been doing quite well for yourself instructing Ballet Students. Yours truly, John Warren P. S. My new show starring the Rand Sisters shall be a hit.
