Joe Pratt is farming. I hear that he is building a house on his father's farm. Could be that he will be married soon. Bill Alley no longer has to worry about milking so many cows, for he now has the help of his wife, the former Ann Pryor. Charles Hyde is still on the farm, but I think that he may turn out to be a gunsmith yet. They tell me that he does quite a bit of work along that line on the side. John York has now been married for eleven years. It's still the same old routine around the store, except for the time that he spends entertain- ing his eight year old son. Bobby Lee probably has the most exciting career of them all. He has become one of the most daring and well known motorcycle racers in the world. He does quite a bit of traveling but he has the company of his wife Sue. Harold Binkley is farming. For some reason he hasn't married yet, but he still has a few more years before becoming a bachelor. Charles Browning finally left the farm and joined the Navy. He must have lost his bashfulness in one of those far away places, because they tell me that he has become quite a lady's man. Bobby Wright is still our seed man. He has progressed however and now owns his own store. Jimmy Crutcher has made himself probably one of the best known men in the world. He graduated from The Georgia Institute of Tech- nology and has discovered two planets and is now about to become suc- cessful with a rocket that will go to the moon.

CLASS PROPHECY Here we go into the future, ten years away, to take a survey of the' members of the graduating class of 1950 of the Coopertown High School.. First, we find in Turnersville, Mr. and Mrs. Wick Seay and four lovely children. Mrs. Seay, the former Juanita Walling, was voted the most likely to succeed. However we never really expected her to get that far. Also in Turnersville we find Nancy Frey as Mrs. Don Crawford, As of yet, there are no children but here's hoping. We find that Nelle Corlew has become Mrs. Vernon Ross. They have two children and seemyto be very happy. MargaretAJeanette is now Mrs. Billy Ray Pratt. They have built a nice little home in the Martin's Chapel Community where Billy Ray farms. They have one girl, and if she grows up to be like her mother, she'll go along way in life. Dorena Wilson or rather Mrs. Ralph Nichols, is now living over Mt. Zion way. From what I hear, Ralph is making quite a farmer of her. And at long last, Buddy Justice has succeeded in convincing Wilola Teasley that marriage is the only thing for them. They have now been married four months, and while waiting for their new home to be fin- ished, they are living with his parents of the Kinney's Road. Juanita Dorris left Tennessee and went to Chicago where she is catch- ing up on the latest gossip. She's an operator for Bell Telephone. I see Ora Lou McMahan every now and then when she's home for the week-end. She finally finished Andrew Jackson Business University and is working as a teller in the American National Bank. Anne Murphey is still waiting for that long-lost love to drift into her life again. While waiting she is working at the Telephone office in Nash- ville. Mrs. Buddy White has now gotten quite an addition to her family. You'd probably never guess it so brace yourself while I let you in on the latest. She is now the mother of triplets. Two of our graduates of '50 went to foreign countries. Jones Elliott is very much of a success in Argentina as a farm instructor and Barbara Watts is a missionary in Egypt. John Miller is now coaching basketball and football somewhere in Indiana. I can't remember the name of the place or school, but they tell me that he is a great coach and has one of the best teams around. Robert Watts has become Vice-President of the John Deere Implement Company. He seems very much satisfied and happy. Oh yes! And he has a very charming wife and a set of twins.
