is Girls soccer had another explosive season with a nine wins, four loss, and one tie reoord for a third place finish in the conference! They also had another live wins in non conference play which rounded out a 56 goats for season record. Goalies Cindy Nelson and Char Rick whipped up nine shut-outs, while Dawn Andersonrarnassed a whopping 28 goal record season! Dawn also had fiverhat rtrioks for a new record, and she tied the olcireoordrror goals per n game. The 1981 season should prove to be even better as many ofthe girls will be returning to the team. GIRLS soF1'BAl.L r The Cardinal Softball team had a very swinging season winning 12 and losing only 3! This lead the girls to the North Suburban Championship with an 8 win and t toss , record in the conference. Jodi Duray completed a very successful two years of varsity pitching with 15 wins and only 5 losses. Val Weaver also pitched wail in her first year ot varsity play.
