The 1973-74 Wrestling Team im- proved their dual meet record from last year to fourteen wins and three losses. In the three losses the Cards were facing teams rated in the top five in the state. In tournaments, Coon Rapids finished third at Forest Lake, second at Robbinsdale, and first at Saint Paul Park. Cardinals sent two wrestlers to state competi- tion, Dale Molitor and Jeff Krato- chwill. The B-Squad team ended their season with a 9-4-1 record. Mike Murphy led the team with four- teen wins and no losses .
