Golfers practice on the putting p-ee Shelly Svenstad demonstrates good golfing form. GIRLS GOLF CR over Blaine by 36 strokes CR defeated by Ramsey by 40 strokes CR defeated by White Bear Lake by 8 strokes CR over Anoka by 12 strokes CR defeated by Ramsey by 18 strokes CR over White Bear Lake by 2 strokes CR defeated by Anoka by 5 strokes For the second consecutive year, the girls ' golf team had a male coach. The team proved its importance by breaking its previous years record of 0-7. This year the girls were 6-3. Girls ' golf is a relatively new sport at CR, with the greatest portion of the team being sophomores. The team expects to be even better next year because of the number of girls return- ing.
