King Dave Hammargren and Queen Anna Brown wait for the parade i The homecoming parade was held on Friday, September 28, before the homecoming football game. The royalty, bands, and floats traveled from Morris Bye elementary school to Coon Rapids Senior High. DECA won first place in the float contest and received twenty dollars. Second place went to Key Club. Many people watched the parade and enjoyed the music of the Senior High Marching Band and the junior high bands. Tina Holm, the parade chairman, is to be thanked for her hard work and effort . To start off the Homecoming Parade Band. the Senior High Marching , place for their float in the parade. This is one of the many floats that took part in the parade. The longest member of Share: Beatrice.

The football marching band practiced every night after school in order to play at the half-time shows. They traveled to St. Thomas College for the Twin Cities Suburban Champion football game and then to Parade Stadium for the semi-finals. Sheri Dunham was an added feature to the football band showing her talents as a baton twirl er. The Football Band performed at each home game.
