Cheerleaders Back
the Cats

One of the most important groups for
promoting school spirit is the cheerleaders.
They boost the Cats to victory by leading
the students in cheers at bon-fires, pep as-
semblies, parades, and football and basket-
ball games.
Eleven cheerleaders, nine regulars and
two alternates, were selected by members of
the Conway High School student body in try-
outs held late in May of 1966. Mrs. Jim
Boardman is the group sponsor.
