Science and Mr. Don Dixon M.S. E., Biology Psychology The science department provides the stu- dents with excellent labs for use in biology, chemistry, and physics. Biology teaches the life processes of plants, animals, and humans. Chemistry deals with the characteristics of the elements, and physics includes the study of mechanics, heat, light, sound, and electricity. Foreign Languages Hic, haec, hoc The foreign language department offers two years of Latin and two years of Spanish. Latin I students mainly study grammar B.S.E.,Span1sh1andn and fundamentals while the second year stu- dents progress to reading the works of Julius Caesar and Virgil. Spanish gives a broader knowledge of Spanish ways and customs and teaches the students to speak, hear, and write the language fluently.
