V , Although it was given on Lincoln's birthday, they used Valentine decoraq tions. As you came in you passed through a large heart. The lights were CGVQ, ered with paper and gave a dull red glow, giving a wonderful effect tai room. A The baskets were covered with red hearts. The stage was screened by narrow red and white streamers, back of which sat Buster's Black Cats. In two opposite cornerswere The Cozy Corners. In another was the stand. The punch girls were dressed in white dresses with heart apronsafldr caps. Guided by two small cupids, Francis Roush, the class president, an Jessie Cunningham, led the Grand March, which finally ened in a huge heart. Then they marched by the punch stand and received programs and later favors were given out. Candy hearts were served with the punch. S. was given on May 28 1926 by the Class of 1927. The dinner was served by Mrs. Tretheway and her Domestic Science girls The banquet was given in the Domestic Arts Room, which was beautifully ' decorated in green and white, the Senior class colors. The place cards were little parrots in a cage standing on each water glass. The nut baskets were green and white. The Menu: ' Fruit Cup Creamed Chicken in Croustades Mashed Potatoes Buttered String .Beans Rolls Jelly Mixed Salad Celery Olives Ice Cream Cake Mints Nuts Coffee Robert Forrest, the class president, was toastmaster.
