Blessed with intelligence and consummate skill Faye 'Hews the line', let the chips fall where'er they will. ANGELINE SANTOS '44, Under the capable guidance and direction of Sister Mary Agnes and Sister Mary Bernadette, our band, during the past year, has become one of the best in the his- tory of the school. Though comparatively small in number, the loyalty of the group has made it equal to a much larger organization. Our orchestra, composed of: Mary Frances Clements, trumpet, Josephine Anania, trumpetg Aurelia Watson, clarinet: Joyce Oliphant, saxaphoneg and Maxine Mc- Gonagle, drums, has given performances at the U. S. O. Club for the entertainment of the Servicemen, played at the Memorial Services for Confederate Soldiers, and has also entertained at numerous school functions. Though the three Senior members of the Band will be sadly missed by the rest of the organization, it can be said with confidence, that the younger members will carry on in a manner prompted by the true Mercy Spirit .
