I : I I I ti I LJ '1 I After a year under instruction at the Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island Commander Overdorf returned to the west coast to assume command of Carrier Alrborne Early Warning Squadron 110 Naval Air Station North Island. He commanded RVAW 110 until assignment to CONSTELLATION in June, 1971. As administrator for five thousand men, Commander Overdorf was charged with such critical and all encompassing responslbilities as the training, advancement and morale of the crew. In carrying out these charges he became a famlllar sight in all parts of the ship, checking fittings inspecting spaces, or chatting with 1nd1v1dual crew members.
