Young Life has taken quite a hold in Conroe this year and some changes were seen. Some of these included a new sponsor, Tom Scarborough, and meeting m homes for a warmer atmos- phere. Young Life continued to provide singing, skits, activities and trips, including an annual ski trip to Colorado. Each was projected in a Christian environ- ment and allowed students to evaluate themselves more closely while considering the aspects of Christianity. The Senior class ruled the pep rallies with stiff races from Junior party horns and Freshman and Sophomore signs. The Homecoming pep rally was taken by the eager Freshmen while each class pushed Its hall theme into the competition. Deep pride was taken by the band, Golden Girls and twirlers in everything they gave to these spirited rallies. Waving high their I ' s, point- ing towards the state champion- ship, students, faculty and oth- ers who attended answered with, We are the Tigers.
