SENIOR COUNCIL lst Row, Left to Right: Marian Fair, Eleanor Delligatti, Eleanor Wiltrout, Evelyn Leeder. 2nd Row: Kathleen Soisson, Pat Friend, Judy Pierce, Paul Prestia. 3rd Row: Miss Reiter, advisor, Jerry Zavatsky, Jim Miller, Howard Roberts, Ralph Lepre, president. 4th Row: Nancy OrndorH, Paula Matsko, Charles Matson, Ray Hart. Not Pictured: Don Beeman, Dick Armen, Virginia Ludwig. The municipal governing body of the senior class is known as Senior Council. This organization is composed of nineteen members, two elected from the eight senior homerooms plus the class ofticers, who preside over the meetings. At intervals during the year, the council convenes to decide upon important issues concerning the Class of 1955 and makes plans for such activities as Color Day, choosing student commencement speakers, and other important decisions necessary for the proper functioning of the class. Members of this group represent the entire Senior Class and their decisions are based on the ideas and opinions expressed by discussions held in homerooms concerning senior activities. Under the guidance of Miss Mildred A. Reiter, the success or failure of the class activities depends largely on this group. 12
