It is an excellent area to grow up in because the pace is slow, there are still places of solitude where a person can communicate with nature, and most people have good hearts. wwf The reason I like living in Conemaugh Township is the High School. Right now my education is very important to me and CTAHS is helping me become the type of person I wish to be. l've become involved athletically as well as scholastically at CTAHS and this has added to my learn- ing. From my friends and the people of Conemaugh Township, l've been given many values I will always remember. Athletic events, parades, the wooded areas, new things to discover, always able to find something to do, and of course, the people are just a few of the reasons I enjoy living in Conemaugh Town- ship and attending CTAHS. Every leaf that falls, every word spoken will live on as a memory. As I leave the area upon graduating, I know I will return some day with many fond memories of how I had grown in this area. I know, when I do return, CT will still be the same friendly and beauti- ful township that I so fondly know now. I know if the people can't find a way, they'll make one. Cindy Sambor 4 Opening I like Conemaugh Township be- cause . . . . . . Some of the best memories I have started at CTAHS. I will never forget all the great people I met there and all the pride the kids from CT have. Lynn Harshberger .... After being away for 5 years at college, I'm very happy to be living in C.T. again. Carle lThomasJ Allen .... The people here are friendly. Karen Young FROM TOP TO BOTTOM: IU Could it be the Injun Engine 31? This train sits on an old abandoned railroad track in Hollsop- ple. 121 Even back then the students tried to brownie up teachers! l3I Does this remind you of the bomb threats? This old fire truck may have come to the rescue of students in 1935, but since then, the Hollsopple Fire Department has acquired newer and more efficient trucks. 4
