QUEEN CITY GF THE BITUMI OUS Q , K M , A l lerome's first House of Learning and the Playground. In the early 1900's, lerome built its first school house. This was the beginning of Jerome education. As we, the members of the class of 1975, see twelve years of schooling pass quickly in front of us, we think of many memories, and why we are glad to live in Conemaugh Township. We see our families, friends, and teachers, but most of all our parents, to whom we dedicate our yearbook as a token of appreciation. In dedicating this to our parents, we decided to add a little to show how much we do care aboutthem. This year we decided to do something different with our yearbook. We have tried to make it more personal and interesting to people of all ages. We want to bring back memories to our parents and grandparents while making new ones for ourselves. As one looks through our book, many changes can be noticed. One of these changes is the pictures we've added from former yearbooks and ones we got from friends. We want to extend our thanks to all who have helped us. These pictures may remind you of your days here, and in doing this, we can help share our days with you. 2 Opening l The booming city of Jerome wasn't satisfied with their first ' school house, so they built a second one which was bigger and better. 4
