Dedication The mark of a good high school is fine teachers. One of Conemaugh Township's finest, Mr. Curtis Greninger, was named finalist for the Pennsylvania 1970 Teacher of the Year Award. Shown in the picture taken last April at a luncheon in Harrisburg are Governor Shafer, Mr. Greninger, and Dr. David H. Kurtzman, Secretary of Edu- cation. Only those of us who know Mr. Greninger well can appreciate how much he deserved this honor. Mr. Gren- inger has always been a source of inspiration to the students of Conemaugh Township. His obvious enthusiasm for teaching and his unlimited supplies of encouragement and praise have brought out the best in each student. His interest in the students of Conemaugh Township and their future plans has always inspired them to try harder. His cheerful outlook on life and school has brightened our halls considerably. lt is through excellent teachers like Mr. Greninger that students can best prepare for future life and its many decisions. For all of these things and many more, we owe Mr. Greninger a debt of gratitude. In view of his outstanding recognition as Teacher of the Year Finalist and his service and loyalty to the students of Conemaugh Township, we proudly dedicate our yearbook to Mr. Curtis Greninger.
