SUPERVISING PRINCIPAL MR. JOHN CHOBANY Indiana University of Pennsylvania, B.S., University of Pittsburgh, Mid., Graduate Work at University of Pittsburghg Supervising Principal. To the Members of the Senior Class, I believe that school should be an enjoyable experience which enables each youth to develop his own talent, ability, and skill. lt is my sincere hope that you have enjoyed your school days, that you have taken advantage of your school opportunities, that you will contribute your share to a democratic society, and thus enjoy a fruitful life. The senior class of 1968 accepted the responsibility of helping in the administration of this school during the time we were without the services of a High School Principal. I realize that this has been a real challenge and I am proud of you in the way you han- dled it. John Chobany Supervising Principal un. Lowsu o. siuirreri I University of Pittsburgh, B.A. cum laude, Carnegieellllelon University, M.A. History, Graduate Work at Bradley University, Western Maryland College, and the University of Pittsburgh. To the Seniors: Graduation from Conemaugh Township High School does not sig- nify an end to education for any of you. lt is, rather, a point along a continuum, the continuum being that aggregate of experiences and education which comprises life itself. As graduating members of the class of 1968 you enter a world in which change accelerates obsolescence. The challenge of a com- puterized and highly impersonalized society awaits you. However, opportunities await those who accept change and the challenges of a dynamic social structure. Hopefully, the educational experiences, both curricular and cocurri- cular, here at Conemaugh Township High School will aid you in confronting the world of the future. I am extremely proud to have been so closely associated with each of you, as a teacher, and now as your principal. l can only wish you well. You, as a cross section and composite of our popue lation, are this nation's greatest asset. To the seniors of the Co- nemaugh Township High School Class of 1968, we wish the best of luck for the challenging future. Lowell D. Shaffer Principal I
