ST HE T EUUNIIIL The Student Council functions as a miniature government acting as a mediator between the administration and student body. The leaders of the group are Robert Pipta, president, Iack Bollington, vice-president, Wilma Yanus, secretary, and Marilyn Yoder, treasurer. Advisors are Mrs. May and Mr. Greninger. One of the innovations in Student Council activities this year was a day set aside in May known as Career Day. Numerous movies explaining careers and choice of occupation were shown. On that day the students attended various meetings Where they derived helpful inform- ation concerning their future occupations. Among other functions were selling school supplies, sponsoring the opening day assembly, decorating for Christmas, and holding a skating party. Also they edited and published a student directory, the Scout, which helps the new students get acquainted with C. T. H. S.
