There was much grumbling and complaining, but nevertheless the seniors all agree that the days marched by much too swiftly. lust yesterday, they entered C. T. H. S. as bewildered seventh graders, Wondering what would happen next. Today, they have become the leading ' class, an inspiration to those who will follow. Tomorrow, they will leave the halls of their Alma Mater, to make their contribution, large or small, to society. They may not all become famous men and Women, but each one has gained something very valuable to himself. High School gave them cherished memories of good times, favorite teachers, amusing incidents, and grand school- mates who made life at C. T. H. S. wonderful. The Senior play, a Valentine Dance, the Senior Skate at Westmont Grove, and the movie Guadalcanal Diary were some of the important Senior activities of the year. The class claimed the Victory Loan Queen and King, Iean Mishler and Robert Szala, and the best C. T. H. S. speller, Luda Henry, who represented the school in the County Spelling Contest, sponsored by the Somerset Daily American. Mrs. Margaret Muckley and Mr. Kenneth Thomas as deans super- vised the class led by Robert Szala, president, Robert Kaltenbaugh, vice-president, lean Mishler, secretary, and William Shetler, treasurer.
