Mr. Hanna CLASS HISTORY Six years ago the seniors, then the seventh graders, entered C. T. H. S. and strolled the halls in bewilderment for the tirst six weeks. As freshmen, they thought they knew a lot, but upon becoming sophomores, they began to realize how little of the knowledge stored at Conemaugh Township High School they had absorbed. When juniors, they looked forward to becoming dignified seniors. But most of them became seniors last spring without becom- ing too dignitiedp however, they had learned that profitable use of time pays dividends. Upon entering this good Alma Mater, the class numbered 209, upon leav- ing the class has decreased to llU members. The large decrease in the class was caused mainly by boys entering the Armed Forces. Although most of these sailors, soldiers, and marines won't be here at commencement exer- cises, they will be present in our minds. The most cherished memories ot the Senior Class of '45 will be those of just learning, playing and living with a swell group of classmates and teachers. Eighteen
