FOREWORD In order to function correctly a wheel needs assistance; because if a wheel doesn't roll, what good is it? We, like a wheel, need help. This help comes from our parents, teachers, and friends. We work together for accomplishment. We feel that we would like to capture some of our accomplishments and activities of yesterday. And so we did! The events of the year 1968 will forever live in the pages of our yearbook, THE COHIAN. We, the students of Conecuh County High School will continue to MAKE THE WHEELS GO ROUND, today, tomorrow, and always, as we did in the yesterdays of 1968. 2

DEDICATION Miss Margaret Nelson Man’s wealth is not measured by the many things he owns, but by the unselfish good he does for his fellow man. According to this, Miss Nelson must be a very wealthy person— rich with the experiences of giving of herself to help other people. The students of C.C.H.S. will long remem- ber and love Miss Nelson for the things she did for us. Not only as an English teacher, but also for helping make possible a Christ- mas Pageant, the Junior-Senior Banquet, and most of all for being our friend. 4
