Religious Organizations mcenfmfmg on service Z0 atberr NE of the most important phases of SCA is the deputation program. The student body is di- vided into fifty-Five teams, which make visitations to rest homes and jails and out-of-town extension trips. The Student Christian Association broadcasts a devotional program over KOBB, the campus radio. The organization of Mission Ambassadors, in- tended for Cobbers who are planning to be mission- aries or who are very interested in the needs of various mission fields, replaces Mission Crusaders, an organization absorbed by the SCA. The Ambas- sadors sponsored a Christmas drive for clothes to be sent to Korea. Gamma Delta, an international organization for students of the Synodical Conference, meets weekly. There are Concordia students represented in both Fargo and Moorhead chapters. Future parish workers meet monthl in south Y lounge in Fjelstad to gain instruction in their future field. HE Student Christian Association unites all the former religious organizations on campus. SCA has a voice in international, inter denominational affairs through the Lutheran Student Association of America and the World Christian Movement. Sun- day supper meetings at the gym represent only a small part of SCA. Providing a Christian outlet for talent and an op- portunity for community service, SCA considers questions on missions, social growth, stewardship and contemporary religion. The First purpose of SCA is to draw each student closer to Iesus Christ. Holding its mid-winter formal banquet at the gym, SCA unites Cobbers under the theme One Life for Christ. LSA'ers and SCA'ers splash together in the MSC swimming P001 during Moorhead Stare College-Concordia College joint social meeting. 63
