The group decided, however, to continue because of renewed interest. The general purpose of the reorganized club is to change the general apathetic attitude to one of active interests in world affairs, mid-west provincialism and to develop a closer bond of kinship between our twenty- five foreign students and the local students. Audio-visual education, headed by Mr. Narveson, provides opportunity for student teachers to gain experience and for Cobbers to meet requirements as operators of audio-visual aids. Bard, Book, and Canto met in South Lounge of Fjelstad and centered its meetings on campus movies such as Henry VIII. Hamlet was discussed at a fall supper meeting. One of the smallest interest groups is Farmers' fell Nordlrrigbom 1 Club, organized just two years ago. OTD, Gamma Kappa Chi fzmpzw devotees of zlamerficizyf AMOUFLAGED under the name of Omi- cron Tau Delta, a bevy of thirty junior and senior home economics majors meet monthly to increase interest in their field and to promote good relation- ship between the girls. Organized in 1922g OTD is afliliated with state and national home economics associations. Benehts from bakesales, dinners and teas sponsored by OTD are used to purchase equipment for the Home Economics House. A newer edition of the home economics club, Gamma Kappa Chi, includes freshmen and sopho- more home economics majors. This group, formerly the sophomore home economics club, re-organized this year to form the underclass Womenis counterpart of OTD. They confine most of their business to monthly supper meetings served by committees within the organization.
