Led by Iory Kjelstrom and Curt Gabrielson, 'the Cobs placed third in the Minnesota Inter-collegiate Athletic Conference meet at St. Iohnis. Their consistent pointmakers throughout the season were Wally Krentz, Nip Leverson, Iohn Moe, Don Jacobson and Iohn Elverum. In addition to the MIAC, the Cobber thinclads participated in the Concordia Invitational, NDSC Invitational, St. Iohn's Triangular and the Bemidji Invitational. The strong points of the squad were in dashes, distance runs, hurdles and pole vaults.
