The Student Council is composed of the president and vice- president of each class, and includes the chair- men of various organizations which concern the Whole student body. Council meetings are held once a Week, at which problems relevant to a particular class or the whole school are intro- duced and discussed. The members of the Stu- dent Council then return to their respective classes and discuss the suggestions offered in Council. Matters necessitating discussion and! or election by the entire student body are brought up in a general assembly, which is presided over by the President of the Student Council, and may be held with or without the presence of the faculty. This year particular emphasis has been placed upon our Honor Study Hall, the most tangible evidence of the Honor System, Our 1957 Coun- cil, headed by Polly Graham, has' done a most commendable job in furthering the school mot- to, Honor is our tradition.
