.SY1111'w1I .AfJt'lIIl7b' The Student Assembly is the legislative body ot the Student Association. lt is com- posed of a representative from each homeroom. The Assembly attempts to improve physical conditions around school, but at the same time it strives to cultivate esprit de corps. The principle activity for the year was serv- ing as host to eight hundred delegates to the State Student Council Convention. Dther proj- ects included a better sportsmanship cam- paign, improvement of the rumpus room, sale of the C.H.S. Review , and a Loi'-signing party. bb C1 Mr. C. Cr. Addleman served as sponsor. rSY111lt'11f C01111t'1'l The Student Council is the executive body of the Student Association. Oflicers are elected each spring by the entire student body. Early in the fall the Student Assembly elects three sophomores, three juniors, and three seniors including the officers. These nine, plus two students appointed by the principal, make up the Council. This years officers had the special distinc- tion of also serving as ofiicers of the Indiana Association of Student Councils since C.S.H.S. served as host to the State Convention in November. The filling of gift boxes and the making of Scrapbooks for children of for eign countries were supervised by the council. Miss Josephine Armuth sponsored the group.
