Homecoming 1972 was a memorable evening en- joyed by all. A smiling, happy queen and her two lovely attendants reigned over a spectacular victory. Queen Judy Hunt crowned by co-captain Tim Gustafson, and her attendants Cindy Hoover and Ann Crook, crowned by co- captain Gary Birmingham, watched the Clippers stomp the Leetonia Bears 27- 14. The Homecoming Dance, which follow- ed, proved to be an unforgettable event with the music provided by FLECTER TEN-MILES HIGH. The dance was sponsored by the CHS Band. Conditioning the players minds and bodies was the main objective for Coaches Arter and Ossoff. The Freshman Football Team was impressive with a 4-3 record. Wins were over Lisbon, East Palestine, Leetonia, and South Range with the losses to Poland, Salem, and Beaver Local. Next year should be even better for them as Reserves.
