N 05 GQSJ jfsfory 'ga These are the eventful experiences that the Class of 1965 will always treasure. After the most gruelling' and torturous initiation Anyone at C. H. S. has ever gone through, we elected Gary Troll as our first, president. Under his able leadership our class organized the FIRST freshman variety show in C.H. S. history. As upperclassmen our most fun-filled sophomore activity was the biology trip to Pittsburgh. Eric Keck led us through that scandalous year. We remember it well! Under the leadership of Rich Snyder we had many money making projects in our junior year, such as junior refreshment stand, car washes, and selling candy. The junior play, The Happiest Millionaire, was a great success. The arrival of our round rings in December set a new trend in style. Our tireless hours spent in preparing for the junior-senior prom Sayonara paid off when it received an honor for the second best prom in the district. We returned from our usual summer vacation to find ourselves as high and mighty seniors. We elected John Lake our president. Remembering our trying initiation we had hopes of seeking revenge but . . . Our class began organizing the annual and publishing the BEACON among our various activities such as the play, prom, pictures, cards, class day, and New York Trip. We climaxed our year with Baccalaureate and finally Commencement.
