C!-ASQ HISTORY The year was 1960. To most people it meant the innauguration of John Kennedy. To us Freshmen, it meant a year of change - from almighty eighth-graders to pea green scum. The leader of this bewildered mass was Brian Arbuckle, our class president. In the fall of 1961, wefagain returned to CHS and endeavored to live up to our name, Sophomore, which literally translated means immature, We elected Lynn Harrold as class president. The fall of 1962 marked the beginning of our Junior year. We elected Allen Lawrence class presi- dent, That year our great football and basketball teams brought us one of the most successful seasons our concession stand had seen to date, Shortly before Christmas, our class rings arrived. Not to be out- done by Twentieth Century Fox and their production of Cleopatra, we fostered our own brain child in the form of Seven Keys to Baldpate, under the direction of Mrs. Allen White. Swaying palm trees, and soft music was the illusion for those who spent a glorious evening in the South Pacific, our mag- nificent Jr. -Sr. Prom. Freshman initiation, the school paper, the annual, college boards and hordes of tests, college applications, senior prestige, one act plays, the excitement of Class Day, caps and gowns, baccalaureate commencement and the class trip - this was our Senior year. C!-ASQ PIZOPHEOK CAROLINE WILMS is very unhappy since her father changed the name of his nursery from Gwen-Gary to C:1roliney's Piney's. WAYNE STAMP is still sitting in the office at C.H.S. making up for sleeping in. LINDA SWANSON is still taking the bus to Western Reserve and leaving the driving to the bus drivers. CHARLES TRUMP is still driving that hot Buick of his around North Lima, BILL SMITH is the owner of Smithy Sohio Service Station. DIXIE SMITH is the model for the Stay Put Lipstick Company. PATTY YOU NG is the head of an expedition to find the Fountain of Youth to stay young. GLEN CHURCHFIELD is the creator of Glennie's Greasy Garlic-burgers. They are sold only at Well's. DOUG CORBAN owns a garlic farm in East Palestine. LEODIS CASE is in a Siberian Agricultural Outpost is raising frozen corn. BOB CLINE has aSurfboard-rental in Rogers.. 'TOM COPE has extended the furniture line and has - added a Cleopatra Coach used exclusively. for dates. HELEN COY is now a tavern owner in Las Vegas. SUSAN CRAWFORD is a brack-jackdearer in coY Cozy comer. MIKE CAMBELL our class astronomer, spends most of his time observing the heavenly bodies. BETTS DAVIES our class wit has replaced Carol Birrnett on the Gary Moore'Show. WILBERT DYKE is the owner of Wilma's Beauty Shop. ROD EDWARDS is now a fat man in a circus and weighs 794 pounds. SHERRY EDDY, noted for being diplomatic with boys, N-is our representative to the U. N, JILL FULLER- TON has taken over Ann Landers Coltunn. TOM HOKANSON is running the Columbiana.Ledger. MARCIA HOLLOWAY is a drag line operator for Ruth Excavating. DOUG HICKMAN is now posing for Body Builder as a big cramp. BRIAN ARBUCKLE and GRACE CLARK, the owners of Valley Golf Restaurant are doing so well that the turnpike has a clover leaf exit on the first green. Speed has paid off for TOM GANTZ, he drives a dragster for LLOYD BARBER and RICHARD BARNES The Co-Owners of B 85 B Speed Shop. Dimpled BARBARA BAUMAN is the owner of the Bauman Baby Bottles, Inc. BARBARA GERLACH is still spilling grape drink on white shirts. BETTIE BEVAN is now the librarian in the Library of Congress. Speaking of congress, FRED GOSNEY is running for President on the Republican ticket, much to the dismay of his father. BOOKIE following family tradition is the head of Bookwalter Clinic and has invented a salve which is guaranteed to grow anotherntoe. CHRIS BROWN is Tom's lovely six-toed secretary. JACK BRODE has achieved his goal, he writes sex novels. RON BURBICK is trying to follow family tradition . . . and work on his farm in his spare time. TATE BURKHART is running for President and backed by Don Gosney. MARY RUTH WALKER, DAVID GOIST, and PAUL BROWER, were last seen being pulled across the duck pond at Firestone Park after writing the CLASS PROPHECY.
