Class History We, the Class of 1959, leave behind use many memorable and fun-filled days. As Freshmen, we were not by any means the shy type. We managed to survive the ordeal of Freshman initiation by grim endurance. Under the able leadership of our president, Jack Fellers, we had a very successful year. Perhaps by luck, we all returned ready, willing, and able for our Sophomore year. This year was spent mostly in earning money for our Junior year activities. Our president fora this year was Bill Brown. The word work reminds us all of our Junior year. Selling refreshments at the football and basketball games was one of the major projects we undertook in order to earn money for our big event of the year, the Junior-Senior Prom. We also presented the play, Finders Creepers, and selected our class rings. This year we were under the leadership of Ray Ober- holtzer, our president. And now as we think of our Senior year, we can all say that we have gained much from the experiences of our high school years. The main project of the Senior year, our annual, was started on its way. Then we presented the Senior play, Rebel Without a Cause. This was our year for publishing the school paper, and a new look was introduced. Having our pic- tures taken and ordering our class cards were two of the many traditional things which we did during this year. Our president was Jim Rupert. And now as June, 1959, rolls around we come to the most important step we have made thus far - our graduation. VRF Z ' V34 - A-V x A , Al . O . gn .1 ' s f
