Ha's H0 IN 1962! lt is the year l962. Most people have made a success of their lives, but we find two wanderers L-Peggy Harrold and Mary Del.auter. They have been touring the continent selling pencils in order to finish college. They have been at it for the past l0 years so you can see, they're determined to get their diplomas. While on their tour, they saw many of their classmates. Chuck Ramsey is coaching at Franklin Square. His team, the Ramsey Rockettes, played the Corey Clipperettes from Mingo Junction- both teams being all girls. Paul Alley owns a gigantic greenhouserin Florida where he raises orchids. He ships them to all parts of the world in Ci refrigerated heliocopter.. . Mickey Powers now has his own gas station where he sells his own brand of gasoline-Mil- ton's Motor Magic. Mary Ellen Poulton and Cabby Brungard own a shop in New York City. They specialize in sailor suits for the small fry. Jack Stephens is chief butcher at the A 8 P Store at the stock yards in Chicago. Working under him are Jane Zimmerman, who is handy- maid at the cash register, and Carolyn Gano, who is just plain maid. She sweeps out the store every night at 6 o'clock. Donna Way has her own private office in the Canton Hospital. On her door is her motto- This Way for Health. Dick Thomas is manager of the N. Y. Yan- kees. Because of his sense of humor, he is the only manager never to fight with the umpires. Ed Miller, who was voted the most likely to succeed , is now janitor at his old alma mater, C.H.S. Charlotte Oesch is a world famous F.B.l. lady. She is on a secret mission in Russia. She is trying to get Stalin's autograph, Instead of being an undertaker, Bill Foertch has done just the opposite. He has undertaken the job of keeping people alive-he's president of Mutual Life Insurance Company. Gary Sayers is o movie star. He is setting the fashions for the men of the world with his royal blue trousers and pink shirt. Joan Zimmerman is an old maid at 27. She has a cat menagerie. She now has taught her 62 Angora cats to bring in the mail. Dogs have nothing on theml l lnstead of specializing in shoes, Lois Glenn has gone to the other extreme. She specializes in women's hats. The sensible kindl Nancy Haas has become a millionaire. After graduation she discovered a coal mine under her house. Following graduation Norma Burbick became office secretary, succeeding Mrs. Bender. She become so skilled in her work that she took over Mr. Richmond's job as Superintendent of Schools. Janet Harrold has become our most successful career girl. She has a career of 6 children. She is teaching them to take over her old job at Heck's. Janet and Janice Magill are touring Europe with the Metropolitan Opera Company. Janice sings while janet accompanies her on the piano. They have appeared twice before the royal family. Ed Burkey is still delivering groceries for the City Market. But now he has his own Cadillac and chauffeur to drive him from door to door. Mary Lou McCaughtry is the nation's first lady-plumber, that is! lt seems her father's uniform was so cute and went so well with her hair that she decided to go into the business. Marilyn Nolan always had a soft spot for the canine species, so now she is proprietor of a ken- nel for orphan dogs. She has all kinds, and she loves 'em alll Jeanette Spanabel and Carol Poulton have just finished nurses' training. Carol has been sent to Africa to care for a sick lion, and Jean- ette has been sent to Massillon-to work in the hospital! Rhoda Stevens has become a professional roller skater. She owns her own rink- Rhoda's Roller Rendezvous. lt has unbreakable glass floors. Shirley Munce has gone to Alaska. She's sell- ing electric blankets to the Eskimos. At present she is living in a three room igloo with her dog team. Linda Fisher is editor of the New York Times. One of her ace reporters is her father. It seems that her father, who in the beginning taught her the ropes , is now taking a back seat to our career girl. Louise Roesti is head majorette for the United Nation's Band composed of 2,000 members. Her high school experience proved very valuable. Jo Anne Bevington has now gone red head. She is head cheerleader for the Redhead Basket- ball Team. In the near future she will begin playing. Bruce Miller is making speeches to high school students all over the U. S. on How to Apply Yourself in School. Bobbye Fisher is head jerk at Well's-soda, of course. She specializes in atomic sundaes. ll quart of ice cream.l Our travel over the country has proved very interesting. We sold many pencils and are look- ing forward to graduating in the near future.
