The Detwiler Award The Detwiler Award of Columbiana High School, sponsored by Mr. Fred B. Detwiler, is awarded on the basis of scholarship, citi- zenship, and character. The senior who eXcels in these is presented with a medal and a cash award of fifty dollars. The selection is made by representatives of the classes and mem- bers of the faculty. A plaque with the win- ner's name engraved on it is placed in a prom- inent place in the school. Last year's winner was Alton Witter. We :wish to congratulate Alton on his fine char- acter, excellent scholarship, and other quali- ties, which earned the award for him.
