KW 1951 SENIV R3 Class llfficers Seated: Gayle Zellers, Treasurer, Pat Hum, Girls' Social Chairman, Phyllis Drew, Secretary, Helen Rodgers, Girls' Athletic Chairman. SENIORS leave to remember . . . The bell has rung, the final class is over, and the locker doors have clanged shut for the last time. We stand momentarily on the steps and see CHS a little larger and just as beautiful as the day we entered in 1947. It was then with timid steps and backward glance we mounted the steps to enter the halls of CHS for the first time. As freshmen we came wide-eyed and curious. After initiation we hit our stride socially with the class picnic, a Christmas Party, and dances. Jim Nolan was chosen to lead us through our Standing: Bill Longshore, Vice President, Dave War- rick, President, Jerry Finnie, Boys' Athletic Chair- man, Bob Barnes, Boys' Social Chairman. sophomore year of activities, the picnic, and many dances. Our junior year brought with it vigorous sell- ing at the games, Honey in the Hive, Hi-Y, Tri-Hi-Y, and finally, the J unior-Senior Prom. This year we were Seniors, left with the leader- ship of the school. The clubs, activities, athletics -all depended for their success on ours. The revelry of class day, the dignity of baccalaureate unexpectedly impressed on us the implications of being a senior. And now we are graduates, remembering the past, looking forward to the future with CHS forever engraved upon our hearts. 'I
