Tyee Staff The 1982 Tyee worked well together under the direction of Editor-in-Chief Kim Sessions and Copy Editor Michelle Hefflin. Kim, who was the only sophomore in the ' 81 staff, attended year- book camp that summer and became the first Junior ever to be Editor-in-Chief. The staff was made up of students who wanted to get involved in making the book, because of dissatisfaction with previous year- books or just to preserve high school memories. They found out that yearbook making was not easy and that the biggest problem was getting pictures for layouts. All-in all, despite frantic deadlines and lack of photos, the staff had a fun and productive year — And hopefully an equally good yearbook. Mike Anderson selects some prints for the 1982 yearbook. Front Row L-R: Kathy Chard, Ann Price, Kim Sessions, Katherine Bor-De-VlUe, Tami Rogers. Middle Row L-R: Marie Holeman, April Boomgaarden, Peggy Bender, Mike Miller. Back Row L-R: Krissie Richstad, Marc Franck, Mike Anderson, Terri Aubert, Chris Nozet, Ann Coffey, Michelle Hefflin.

Chant ' s New Qystem Quccessful The 1981-82 school year brought to the Chant not only a new editorial staff, but a new hyar- chical system of organizing them. Instead of an Editor-in-Chief, a Managing Editor ' s job was created, along with a board of department editors. The new system met with great success as this was one of the best years yet. A majority of the editorial staff will return next year, as they are mostly juniors. The editorial staff includes: Managing Editor Clara Johnson, Advertising Editor Mike Rochel, News Editor Michelle Reed, Feature Editor Carol Moyers, Sports Editor Cheri Lindstrom, and Circulation Editor Fred Grandy. Arlene Hella jots down a note or two. Front Row: Tymlra Smith, Arlene Hella, Carol Moyers, Margaret Wltteman, Marguerite DeVinna, Clara Johnson, Advisor Ms. Brenda ( Porky ) Miles. Back Row: Cherie Lindstrom, Mike Rochel, Steve Lucas, Michelle Reed, Fred Grandy.
