■ CAMPING TRIP Sue Rella, Chris Bordiuk, Robin Patlock, Debbie Thompson Stu Richter Bruce Grossman Laurie Silverstein, Sue Rella, Helena Demarco, Adrienne Lapolla The only word that could be used to describe the camping trip is “magic. Magic in the people, magic in the tree tops, and magic in the lake. Maybe the magic was always in ourselves and the trip has the power to bring out that magic. It brings out a side of us that most people are afraid to show. It brings out the true person in each of us. You meet new friends who seem to be as close as family. You can’t imagine the special kind of feel- ing you get until you have experienced the magic of a wonderful place called Milford. —Bruce Grossman

Russel Lobsenz, Chris Colasanti, John Nutty, David Stumer Mr. Price Kristi Payne, Pat Friend Chris Colasanti, John Nutty, Kristi Payne During April vacation of 1984, seventeen students visited Madrid, Spain for eight days. Led by their chaperones, Mr. Bill Price and Ms. Anne Dale, the students toured sites in and around Madrid. Several of these tours were provided by the Spanish Heritage Association, including those of Cuenca, Avila, and la ciudad encandada.” When not on tour the students were allowed to see the city on their own. Some of this time was spent buying gifts for family members and friends. One popular item was Lladros. These are porcelain figures made exclusively in Spain. When it came time to leave, several members of the group vowed that they would return in the future. All of the students returned to America with many souvenirs, photographs and memories. 21 David Stumer, Kathleen Tevlin
